Orientation Leaders
Waterloo Orientation is currently looking for student leaders to fill various leadership roles for fall Orientation 2012.
New this year is a division of positions into Faculty Orientation Leaders and a Cross Campus Event Team. Successful applicants for both positions will be excited about being a resource for first-year students and passionate about sharing their experiences. There are also upper-level Orientation Coordinator positions available within many faculties so please review all relevant Job Descriptions closely.
Applicants are welcome to apply to as many positions as they are qualified for, however please note that should you be offered multiple opportunities you will be able to accept only one offer.

Event Manager
(Part-time: February 10 - September 28, 2012 - 6 positions available)
If you have event planning experience, like to take initiative, and are creative and flexible, this is the job for you.
Working alongside the Student Success Office and Waterloo Orientation, Event Managers will plan, co-ordinate and facilitate the following components of Orientation Week:
- Central Registration
- Sunday and Monday Welcome Nights
- Cornerstones
- Playfair
- Student Success Saturday
- Shuttle
- Ask Me
First Year Experience Trainer
(Part-time: February - August 2012 - 25 positions available)
The FYE Trainers are responsible for the facilitation of a day-long training program for various students’ leaders working with first-year students (e.g. Orientation Leaders, Experience Leaders etc.). If you possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, sound judgement and have a passion for improving the first year experience, this is a position for you!

Orientation Week is the opportunity for:
